Skipping Stones Designs Sketch 106 Challenge

I have been rocking the challenges this week at night. I am loving being able to pick up a challenge and then just go with it! 🙂 Tonight I worked with the Skipping Stones Designs Sketch #106 Challenge and had a great time.

I started with a 2 3/4″ circle cut with my CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge and stamped the $1 bin birdy with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad right on it. I used my Bic Ultra Fine Marker in Hot Aqua to color in the bird and Yellow Blaze to color in the beak. I went over certain areas with the Sakura Glaze pen and accented the edges with Tuxedo Black Bic Marker. I inked the edges and background with Broken China Distress Ink and added a matching piece of bling. I then cut out a scalloped circle at 3″ from the Art Philosophy Cartridge and inked it up with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink Pad.

The musical paper is from the My Minds Eye Sunshine 6×6 Paper Pad and 2 of them are cut at 3/4″ x 4″ and one is cut at 1″ x 4″. The polka dots are cut at 4″ x 3 1/2″ and all are inked with the Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink Pad.

Come join us in creating a card for the sketch design this week! 🙂
