In part two of our Scrapbook 101, I am going to talk about planning a layout. If you missed the first part of Scrapbooking 101, click here to read that and watch the accompanying video.
For me the most important part of getting my story out there is the steps I take in planing my layout. This planning could be through surfing the internet for inspiration, looking at my photos, pulling out a paper or embellishment that I really want to use, etc. Most of the time in my scrapbooking, I start with a sketch that I would like to use. This sketch can be found online (I suggest Page Maps or Sketch Support) or in a magazine.
When I find sketches, I print them out and keep them handy for when I am in the need to pre-plan layouts. The video will describe the next steps in detail for you. You can watch on YouTube by clicking on the lower right of the video and it will pop-out for you.
I hope you have enjoyed the second week of Scrapbooking 101-Beyond the Basics. Next week’s videos will discuss organization tips and tidbits! I hope to see you then! 🙂
P.S. Please leave a comment on what you would like to see in upcoming weeks. I am planned for the next few but I want your input so this series will be successful! 🙂
