A couple of weeks ago I decided to purchase the Immortal Love paper stack by DCWV (exclusive to Joann’s) after a recommendation of a friend. I am not a Twilight fan considering I have never read the books or seen the movies. I bought the collection because I thought it had potential and wanted to play with it to create things for my Etsy shop.
When I began working in the Scrapbook industry, I created custom layouts for people who didn’t have time to scrapbook on their own. My taking a step back from running my own business allows me to do that again and I truly enjoy it. While I am doing custom scrapbooking I am able to work outside of my own personal box and get into many other things that I normally wouldn’t. Thus this layout was born! 🙂
I used two different sheets of the Immortal Love stack as well as a grey-ish/silver cardstock. I inked the edges of the gray cardstock with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. I used my Martha Stewart punch to create a nice edge to the rose paper. The book pages are straight from the Eclipse book that I crinkled up and inked with Fired Brick Distress Ink. The photo mats along the right side are 3 1/2″ x 5″. I placed the top and bottom one down first and then the second and finally the third. By doing it this way, I have left it open to where you can tuck the photos behind without adhesive getting in the way.
The flowers are made by Prima adhered with a Pearl brad from Creative Imaginations. Behind them is an American Crafts vinyl Thicker that added that extra oomph! The flower on the right side is dressed up with a chipboard clock made my Teresa Collins. Don’t forget to use those Bic Mark-it’s to outline the edges of the book paper and then add photos and you are done! 🙂
Are you interested in purchasing the kit to make this scrapbook page? I have one kit available with all of the items you see here and I can make others of this same layout in different themes. The kit will sell for $8 plus shipping and then all you have to do is assemble it and add pictures! 🙂 If you are interested in purchasing the actual layout already completed, it will be $10.
