New Twine Storage and some cards…

This weekend, after getting 10 yards of three new colors of twine, I knew I had to find a solution on how to store them so that I wasn’t always pulling from the sample skeins I got much less trying to untangle them all the time.

I grabbed some of my #8 Shipping tags, and went for three different colors per tag. I wanted them to stay in color order as well. I wrapped them around and around until I was able to tuck the last bit behind. I also used my Bic Ultra Fine Marker in Tuxedo Black to write the manufacturer (The Twinery) and the color.

After I had all of my twine organized, I put the tags on a big silver ring and now they are all together nice and cozy!

Since I had this organized so well, it was easy for me to whip up some mini cards this weekend from scraps.

I loved how these cards turned, using more Dear Lizzy scraps, so much that I made a second set in My Minds Eye Follow Your Heart scraps. I have listed both of these sets in my Etsy shop. You can see the pink set here and the blue set here! Both are read to ship!
