Start to Finish #3: Watermelon Dr. Pepper

Wow, I was on a roll this weekend because I was able to complete 8 Start to Finish Layouts.  That brings my total for the year to 11 layouts done!  WOO HOO!  {I know that I had previously said only 2 but I found another one that just needed a bit left on it and I will get that blogged soon as well.}

I gathered some inspiration from the 2Peas Member Gallery and chose to take my own twist on the above layout by Crafty Kitten.  {You can get more info here.}

I loved the color blocking that she did and wanted to do the same. So I pulled out some scraps from Echo Park For the Record and a sheet of cardstock and love how this came out.

I added some embellishments here and there like the My Minds Eye Lush Red Brad, Cappuccino twine from The Twinery, Tim Holtz Vial Label, Making Memories Tiny Type Alpha, American Crafts Sprinkles Thickers, October Afternoon Mini Market Alphas and used my EK Success Labels Punch with a scrap from Webster Pages at the top.

Look for some more Start To Finish layouts coming to the blog soon! I am hoping to do at least one weekly but don’t want to pinpoint a day because I need to be flexible like that.
