Reverb10- Day One

This December, I have decided to participate in Reverb10. It is an annual event that takes place online to reflect on what the year has brought you. It also prepares you for the following year.

Each day a new prompt is posted to respond to. Today, December 1st was the first prompt that said, “One Word.
Encapsulate the year 2010 in one word. Explain why you’re choosing that word. Now, imagine it’s one year from today, what would you like the word to be that captures 2011 for you?” (Author: Gwen Bell)

As I read the prompt, ideas immediately starting running through my head. What will my words be? What would my husband’s words be? Then it hit me, I am going to do a He Said, She Said book. So right then and there I wrote down my two words. I then read the prompt to Michael and he gave me his words. It was quite interesting to see how close our words were in my opinion.

My book is 6×6 in size. I am creating the pages each day on cardstock and then going to decide on the binding of the book and assembly after it is all said and done and I know the sizes for each. It works for me!

She Said 2010: Change 2011: Blessed
He Said 2010: Hectic 2011: Fruitful
