Love Your Life

After many trials and errors of coloring digi images, I am finally please with one that involves a person. I took the choice of colors from a digi image that a friend had just colored and sent a pic of to me (green dress). I will say that this is also a combination of Bic Ultra Fine Markers and Copic Markers.

I colored the bunny, the dress and shoes with various Bic Ultra Fine Markers. I colored the girls skin and hair with Copic Markers. The skin was colored with E000, E00 and E11 and her hair was colored with YR31 and Y26.

After I had finished coloring the image in, I then inked the edges of the oval die cut with Forest Moss Distress Ink and then distressed in the middle with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink. I also added some Tuxedo Black Ultra Fine Bic Marker highlights around the edge and Sakura Glaze pen on the girl’s dress.

For the base of the card I used a standard A2 sized piece of Kraft cardstock. I then cut down a piece from Basic Grey Hello Luscious (flowers) at 1 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and inked the edges in Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. I then cut down a piece from Graphic 45 Le Circque (stars) at 2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. I also inked the edges of this paper wtih Brushed Corduroy after I used my Corner Chomper 1/2″ to curve the bottom two edges.

I then cut a small slit in the side of the card to fit my ribbon. I placed the ribbon through the slit and once the paper was adhered I worked on getting the bow just right. 😉 Foam tape helped give some dimension to the digital image and some bling up in the corners for a bit of pop!

I do hope that you liked this card as much as I enjoyed making it. I am seeing more digital stamps in my future!
