Creative Favs! Friday Features 6/29

If you looked at the last 5 items that you created, would you find similarities throughout them all? Are there items you are grabbing each and every time that you know you couldn’t scrap/create without? Today I want to focus on the scrapbook related items that I am ALWAYS grabbing in my layouts or cards.

Twine from The Twinery– I have mentioned how much I love their twine many times before. I will say it again, it’s awesome! Not only are there many colors to choose from but the weight of this twine is like no other. It’s definitely thicker and I can tell it’s going to stand up to use on my layouts and fondling of the cards that I create.

Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad– This is my GO TO ink for everything! I love that it is quick to dry, permanent and will work with my Copics when I am stamping and coloring as well. Very rich black color and never fails me!

Uniball Signo White Gel Pen– This is my favorite pen ever! I use these so much (and so fast) that they don’t have time to dry out on me like so many other gel pens do. These come in many great colors and are all just as good. I have the green, red, navy, silver and gold as well and they rock!

Folk Art Whicker White Acrylic Paint– This is my favorite, cheap, white acrylic paint. It’s the perfect white color, has a great thickness, is easily watered down when needed and goes on great as a base coat or a stencil paint. Very versatile!

Adhesive Tape Glider (or ATG)– I have two different ATGs and love them both. I keep one loaded with Acid Free tape while the other is loaded with General Purpose which is what I use on cards and the like.

Glossy Accents– A definite, hands down must have while scrapping! This works as more than just a wet glue, it’s a dimensional addition as well as adds gloss to your embellishments. Perfection in a bottle!

Tim Holtz Serrated Scissors by Tonic– I am on my 2nd pair of these scissors because the hubs decided they worked so well for his usage that I had to replace them in my scrap area. I am not shy to say that they are very multi-purpose and are used by so much around the house as well as my scrapping.

Tonic Guillotine Trimmer– I guess you can say that I am a Tonic fan because this was a big purchase for me and I don’t regret it one bit. I actually went out and purchased the 12” Guillotine Trimmer as well after having this one for a few years. I love them both and can’t wait to have the space again to use my larger one.

Tim Holtz Craft Pick by Tonic– This retractable craft pick is perfect for making that hole for a brad, handsewing or getting rid of die cut waste. It’s also great for de-gunking the Glossy Accents bottle. Shh, don’t tell!

Silhouette Cameo– This is my most recent tool purchase and I am so glad that I did! I love the fact that I can create like crazy and then cut it all out together and so fast! The accuracy and detail that this machine provides is amazing. Best of all the subscription I got to the online Silhouette store has rocked my socks off! Definitely worth every penny!

Whew! Now that I have shared my top ten with you, what are some of your scrapbook must haves? Link me up to something you have to scrap/create with so I can check them out myself! I always can use something else in my scrapping arsenal!
