Creative Ventures- Making a Birthday Card

On my plate this week I had to make a card for my Mother-In-Law for her upcoming birthday. Well, I knew the papers that I wanted to use and just had to find a sketch that worked well with it. This sketch was found by Google-ing “card sketch” and looking through the images. I would love to give credit for it but the blog it was on is no longer available.

As I was packing up some boxes, I saw The Boyfriend collection from Cosmo Cricket and decided this would be perfect. I pulled out a piece of Kraft Cardstock for my base and went to town. For the scallop edge, I used a Fiskars Threading Water punch. I have some new edge punches on pre-order from the EK Success CHA release and I can’t wait to get them in and show you! 🙂 I kinda like how the card turned out. And you know, I always create two of every card I make at least.

I also go a layout done with the new Hallowe’en in Wonderland Paper from Graphic 45 and will post that later this week! Have a great day and Happy Scrapping!
