Creating like a Mad Woman!

Over the past few weeks I have finally got into a groove of creating like mad! I am loving it. Yes, my space is literally my little 30″ table in front of my futon with some of my stuff spread all around me. It’s totally nuts but I love it! 🙂

I’ve been working on a lot of upcoming class samples as well as Make and Takes. I can’t wait to show people how to create these things that I have made.

Here I used a sketch from Mojo Mondays to create a card that I did for a swap. We all created with the same sketch and it was fun to do. I truly had limited supplies for this challenge and all of this was either in my tool tote or my paper crate. I wish I had found my stamps for this challenge but meh!

Here all the cards are all together. You can see they are each a little different. I used the Life Of The Party 6X6 Paper Pad Lime Twist Collection (My Minds Eye)
and loved working with it.

The next thing that I started to work on was my layout sample for the upcoming class at Faithful Scrapper in Kaufman, TX. I’m using many different techniques in this class that are all new for these ladies including: curved lines, Distress Inks, die cuts, gel pens, stamping and more. I think they will love it based on what I have done so far. I need to get my photos and add the title and see if it needs anything else.

I love the tags that I have added to this. They are #8 tags but have been cut down to 3 1/4″ and 3 1/2″ before being distressed. So fun and then added some pen work and brads to give them some detail.

Another thing that I have been working on is samples for a Technique Crop and also the samples for a day of Make and Takes {at Scrapville in Greenville, TX}.

The first tag I created is for the Technique Crop where I will be teaching Tim Holtz Distress Stains
and Glimmer Mist. This tag uses a lot of Tim Holtz product from stamps, tissue tape, grungeboard, Distress Stains and more! Loving it!

The other tag that I created was using the same Distress Stains and created a totally different look using tons of different layers of stain. I used another stamp by Tim Holtz (from Bitty Grunge) and then also used two of the butterflies from the Kraft Resist Paper Stash (Tim Holtz)
which is just amazing. {Look for more projects with it soon!}

Now that I have shown you what I have been creating, what about you? Link me up so I can check it out!
