Wow, it’s been almost a week since I have posted. It’s been a crazy week of getting busily prepared for the Craft Fair that I did yesterday and will be in on Tuesday night. {BTW, I did meet my goal of getting 100 cards done for the fair… actually completed 102.}
Since I got home from the fair yesterday, I had quite a bit of ideas going through my head and have wanted to play around and finally got some time today. I used the All Decked Out My Acrylix stamp set from CTMH and loved being able to put the pieces together. {I will have more on my Facebook shortly.}
This snowman was so fun to put together and with just a few supplies it came together quite quickly. I will have a list below for you of the materials.
First thing was to stamp the entire snowman on a piece of cardstock and the separate pieces (hat and scarf) on coordinating cardstock. Cut out the coordinating images. Then color in the snowman and the snow flurries with Copic Markers. I used small pieces of foam tape to pop up the hat and scarf. I adhered this piece to a sheet of coordinating paper from the My Mind’s Eye pack that was 1/8″ larger than my base.
I next cut the base cardstock at a typical A2 size (5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and then scored it at 4 1/4). The background paper from My Mind’s Eye was cut at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″. Ink the edges with Black Ink of all pieces.
Use the edge punch to punch a piece of cardstock and then wrap with twine around the edge and adhere to the back of the snowman. All of this layered right on top of the card and VOILA! I did add some Stickles to the snowflakes and love that!
