Tim Holtz Distress Inks

I am sure by now many of you are using Tim Holtz Distress Inks. Who wouldn’t love these twenty-four acid-free, non-toxic, fade resistant, water-based dye inks. They’re perfect for the new vintage, stained, aged effect crafters are creating in their altered books, scrapbook pages, cards and paper craft projects.

Here is a great video straight from Tim on how to use his wonderful inks:

Well, we have already been blessed with 24 different ink choices and I know that I am still working on my collection (it’s at 5 right now and growing). The color chart below shows samples of a the different colors for your viewing pleasure. I personally have this printed out in my inspiration journal and have the ones that I have checked off so that I won’t double purchase any. I also have a mark if I have the reinker which is perfect for all my homemade shimmer sprays that I make for that perfect accent!
If it wasn’t amazing enough, Tim is releasing 12 new colors at CHA 2010 as well as some amazing other things. Each of these stamp pads retails for $4.99. I can’t wait to be able to order these from my vendor and have them available for you as well. Live.Teach.Create price for Distress Inks is $3.50 which is a great way to stock up! With the $1.50 you are saving off retail on buying an ink pad, you basically get 4 for the price of 3. That means that with the 12 new colors coming out the total to start saving up if you purchase through Live.Teach.Create will be $42 (plus shipping).

As I know of more CHA 2010 releases I will definitely let you know! 🙂
