Self Portrait Project

As a part of my being “Open” in 2012, I have decided to join in on the Self-Portrait Project of 2012. One of the bloggers that I read has been doing this project since last year and her wrap-up for 2011 inspired me! Thanks Kimberly!

What does this mean? I will take one self-portrait each week through out 2012 and share a bit of what was going on at that time in my life.

Week 1:

I woke up with exceptionally curly hair {natural by the way} after taking a shower and throwing it in a ponytail before bed. I was waiting for the Keurig to make my first cup of coffee for the day. Hubby had already gone to work. I went to the library and spent a few hours working online before going and having Subway with hubby for lunch. After I dropped him back off, I went home and worked on several cards that I have shared with you this week. After hubby got home, we had one of my favorite comfort foods for dinner {Slop- YUMMY!} and finished watching the latest Narnia movie we rented.

Week 2:

This is me, at work this past week. I was happy to be wearing jeans {love jean days} and I decided to wear a sweater that my father had given to me for Christmas. Although quite large on me, I love how comfy it is! You can see my daily hair style (ponytail into a bun), my badge with keys and key card, minimal jewelry {wedding band and engagement ring, spinner ring, charm bracelet, Key 2 My Heart necklace and earrings- only silver/white gold for me!} and MY BOOTS! The beginning of this week we had a ton of rain and therefore not only was our ranch saturated but it was a mud pit. My boots were very helpful in getting through the mud.

It’s not too late to join in on Self Portrait 2012 project. I guarantee my photos will be random iPhone photos when I share each time. See you next week! 🙂

P.S. Part of my motivation behind this is hoping that I can see more differences as I continue my weight loss. 🙂
