Mini Cards- The Perfect Solution!

Are you ever in need of a card and just don’t have time to spend to make something elaborate and fancy for that special someone? This weekend while I was at Whitworth Ranch Retreat in Scurry, TX, I created these two cuties from simple scraps of the Typeset paper left from a layout that I was working on!

I love using my scraps from a project to create a card. That helps me two -fold, I’m using up my scraps AND I’m building my supply of cards for future use. WIN! WIN!

Each of these cards is a 3 1/2″ x 7″ card. I then cut down the Typeset B&T Duo paper to 3 1/4″ square. I then cut it at 2″ to leave me with a 1 1/4″ piece as well. I inked up the edges with Cocoa Exclusive Ink. I then used the stamp set from the Typeset WOTG and stamped the sentiments on Kraft cardstock with Cocoa Ink. {Have I mentioned I love this ink?} I cut out the stamped image that said UR Special and punched out the image that said Friends 4 Ever with a small scallop punch.

I then used some brown twine to wrap around the card and tied it off in a crossed knot. The stamped image is then placed to the side of the knot and adhered with foam tape.

If you are interested in purchasing the Typeset Workshop On The Go, click to head over to MyCTMH site! You will have everything you need to create so many things including these cards with only needing to add twine and foam tape! 🙂
