I know, I know, Thanksgiving is still 3 months away and many of us have just started the wonders of Back to School. This layout was so fun to create and I had to share it with you.
As, you have seen in past layouts, I have become in love with the Magic How To Book! I love the interactive and different sketches that are in this book and how easy they are to follow and recreate. This layout is nothing different and actually mixes a couple different layouts from the how-to book to make them their own!
Using the Typeset Workshop on the Go (only $29.95) makes this layout easy as almost everything you see is in the kit! I added two sheets of Kraft cardstock to this and the Black Hemp. {I have to say that the CTMH Kraft Cardstock is my absolute favorite EVER! It not only feels like Kraft should feel but it’s the right weight! LOVE IT!}
The new B&T duos that are double-sided make it so easy to match your patterns. I also love how the Milepost Shapes pop off the page when they are giving border to a photo or set of photos. Definitely draws the eye in!
The Creme Brulee cardstock here was simply traced with the pattern in the How-To book and I cut it out. I am almost positive there is a similar cut on the Art Philosophy cartridge. Can’t wait to get mine next week so that I can start playing with it!
The only added tool I used was the Diamond Lace edge punch by EK Success. I love the look that it gave to the edge and just added that extra little bit. You could use any edge punch or even pre-cut the kraft cardstock with the Art Philosophy and leave a border. 🙂
