Inspiration Abounds

Last week, I received an email with new designs from Creative Pointe. I was so happy to get them because I had been desperately wanting to “play” in my studio.

She recently created two new SVG files all for Girls! You can find Set One and Set Two at Diecut Designer (or just click on the words).

As soon as I got the file downloaded, I started splitting it into layers and making it exactly how I wanted. I decided to wait until National Scrapbook Day to cut it out. I picked out one of my newest purchases from Scrapbook Chicks(Basic Grey Hello Luscious Collection Kit) and couldn’t wait to layer like mad!

I love the layout that I created and even more that it focuses on ME! I very rarely do any layouts that focus around just me and this was something that I definitely needed to do to lift my spirits about my Weight Loss!

All of the edges of my papers are inked with Colorbox Chalk Ink in Chestnut Roan. The base of the layout is a sheet of American Crafts cardstock and then layered with various sheets of the Basic Grey collection pack. The title is also created with the same collection. I did use my new Sakura Stardust Pens to highlight some areas in the title. I used Prima eLine Pearls in various spots on the layout once I had adhered my photo mats (again American Crafts cardstock) and my photos.

Hope you like it! Can’t wait to create the next thing using Creative Pointe‘s SVGs! They are so detailed, great and easy to use!
