I Love You {SFYTT Jan 2012}

Each month over at I{heart}2Stamp a new sketch is posted to play along with for the month. After the year is done, they choose a winner from someone who has played along the entire year. I am challenging myself to complete all 12 this year! We shall see how that goes. 🙂

I had the top image stamped for quite some time on my desk and wanted to use it up but when I went looking, I couldn’t find any purple papers that spoke tome and then I remembered I had the Sonoma Paper Pack that would work since the colors were the same.

You can see I used my Signo White Gel Pen to add some accents as well as some Stickles over the heart. I love how it made it pop on top of the Deep Plum cardstock. The olive green satin ribbon behind the scalloped oval is from my stash and I know I got it from Hobby Lobby.

Since the card base was very dark, I wanted to add some decoration on the inside so that it could be written on easily. I added a strip of each side of paper that I had already used for visual interest.

I have this card available in my Etsy shop for purchase. The papers used are also available from CTMH and you can get those by contacting me if you are interested! 🙂
