Harvest of Memories Cards

As we are still seeing 100 degree days here in Texas, I am begging for the fall season to come upon us. I was hoping that by making some cards that are fall-themed maybe it would help cool our area down a bit. We shall see, but before we do let’s get on with the cards.

This month’s Limited Edition Stamp of the Month is just great for using in your Fall Cards or any time! I stamped the tag, which is a really great outline, in Cocoa Ink on Colonial White cardstock. After that I used Autumn Terracotta Ink to stamp the Harvest of Memories sentiment.

The next step was to use the So Grateful stamp set to stamp a leaf in Olive Ink and the swirls in Cocoa Ink. I cut out the tag by hand {although it does have a Cricut cut} and then inked the edges with Cocoa Ink. I also punched a hole in the side and then threaded through some brown seam binding tape.

These were them mounted on New England Ivy card bases. I have one that is 4 1/2″ square and one that is a standard A2 (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″). I cut the Mayberry stripe patterned paper a 1/4″ smaller than the base and inked the edges with Cocoa Ink. I then cut the Mayberry Olive Polka Dots paper 1/2″ smaller than the first paper. I inked the edges with Cocoa Ink and then added some pen work with a Bic Mark It and a white pen.

These cards came together so quickly and I love how they turned out. If you are interested in purchasing any of these supplies {or any other great supplies} hop on over to the Live.Teach.Create with CTMH website and place an order.
