Gnomes and Bad Hair Days….

Sorry to interrupt the blog hop once again {scroll down for today’s post}, but I needed to upload some challenges before the deadline.

The other night I worked on two different card for different challenges. The first card that I created was using the Mojo Monday Sketch for the week and also playing along with the Scrapbooker’s Paradise Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge.

I will admit that I wasn’t feeling how it worked out for the Mojo Monday sketch and I think it’s the patterns but it was what I had around that matched the colors from the little Gnome that I colored from Melonheadz. It’s done, more paper was used {My Mind’s Eye 12 Days of Christmas and Echo Park Off The Record} and another two challenges have been entered. WOOT!

The next card that I created was for the Stella Says Sketch #2 Challenge over on Catch the Bug Blog. I was so excited to have won the first sketch {my badge is on the right of my blog} and knew I had to keep on entering. I used another Melonheadz image {it was printed and already colored so another thing that I was able to get off my desk} called Bad Hair Day.

Little story behind the image- I posted the image on my Facebook the other day saying that I couldn’t wait to do something with it after I colored it in. My friend posted that the caption for it should be something to the statement of “Where’s my Sonic” as it it looks lime me before I’ve had my Route 44. HA HA! Thanks Lisa! {If you check out her blog, let her know I sent you!}

And because I wasn’t able to add a sentiment on the front, I also decorated the inside with coordinating paper from Simple Stories 100 Days of Summer Collection.

I think that this would be a super cute card to send to a friend to just get a laugh! 🙂
