Friday Fab 5 for March 15th

FridayFab5

It’s been quite some time since I shared my Friday Fab 5 and I thought it would be great to share with you again. Of course they are in no particular order but they do all come from various things that I have pinned over the course of the past week.

decimalsmatter

1. Love2Learn’s blog post reminding us that “Decimal’s Matter“- This story is beyond precious! I can’t wait to share it with my students to show them how decimals are pertinent in the real world.

missmathdork

2. Introducing Miss Math Dork. You may have already heard of (or even used some products from Miss Math Dork) but have you “met” the new Miss Math Dork? She is fabulously cute and I love the work that Melissa did to make Miss Math Dork come alive for my blogger buddy Jamie! 🙂

owlnecklace

3. Steampunk Owl Necklace– Many of you know I am in total LOVE with owls. Well, this past weekend at All-Con after dressing in costume one day, I am already working on finishing out my outfit with a theme. I am going to deck it out as a Steampunk Math Teacher. How cool would this owl be to add to my already rockin’ corset from Silver Leaf Designs?

data

4. Tonya of Tonya’s Treats for Teachers had a pure data driven treat that I saw on Pinterest this week. I can’t believe I have never thought to do this before. Instant data analysis on something when you give students a strip to color the numbers they got wrong and put them all in a folder to see right away as a class what you need to review. This would be awesome for me to use with Study Island work that my kiddos do.

sourpatchgrapes

5. And last, bust not least, a recipe that I can’t wait to try this summer. Who doesn’t love Sour Patch Kids? I’m sorry but they are simply the best but sadly, no where near healthy. Well, I think I have found something that is a bit healthier but will pack that PUNCH when I need it. I saw this recipe for Sour Patch Grapes this week on Pinterest and was IMMEDIATELY intrigued and can’t wait to try them out!

So, did you round up some fabulous things on your blog this week? Leave me a comment so I can come check them out! Feel free to use the logo above if you wish! 🙂
