Going through my scraps has seems to really motivate me lately and get my ideas flowing. Yesterday, I pulled out my bag of scraps for Roxie and immediately saw a sheet that was perfect for a card base. I had my corner rounder out as well and then it just came to me.
The card is a typical A2 card base at 4 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ from Smoothie cardstock. The top paper in the background is cut at 2″ and the bottom two are cut at 1″. The scrap of Tulip cardstock is cut at 3″ x 4″. The paper on top is the reverse of one of the sheets of Roxie and is cut at 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″. The strip is 3 3/4″ long. All of the sheets are sponged in Tulip Ink. The saying “So In Love” is stamped with the Roxie Workshop On The Go My Acrylix.
The accents that I added were brown seam binding tape and one of the rolled flowers from the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge in Kraft. I added a piece of the smallest Bling Assortment buttons to the center tied with hemp. The flower is adhered with Liquid Glass after I sponged the tops and sides with Tulip Ink.
This card came together so quickly and I love how it turned out. If you are interested in purchasing any of these supplies {or any other great supplies} hop on over to the Live.Teach.Create with CTMH website and place an order.
