Last week, I was asked by a great online blogging and Twitter friend Michelle to create a card or layout for her Haunted Happenings Blog Feature. I was so thrilled too help her and couldn’t wait to show you what I created. I sneak peeked it earlier this week and now that she has posted it on her blog, I can share with you all the details on how I created it!
Materials used:
Close to My Heart Dreamin’ Paper Pack (papers and cardstock)
CTMH Trinity My Acrylix Alphabet (title and date)
CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy Collection (leaf stamp and cut out on Cricut cartridge)

As I was beginning this layout, I went through my stamps and found the fall leaf stamp that I knew I wanted to use and it was perfect that it was able to be cut out with the new Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge as I wanted to make it easier on me. After I cut each of these out, I simply stamped two of each color on the Colonial White Cardstock.
The next thing I did was cut each of my background papers to size and inked the edges with Chocolate Ink to make them pop.
I then chose each of my pictures and cut them down to fit on the page in the respective areas. {These pics are some family friends who we went to the State Fair of Texas with two years ago.} I did play around quite a bit with the leaves to make sure that I had them exactly where I wanted them before I adhered them down with foam tape.
I then used the CTMH My Acrylix Trinity Alphabet to stamp out my title with Autumn Terracotta Ink. I also stamped the date with one of the smaller alphabets from the same stamp set. This is my absolute favorite alphabet because it is SO versatile!
I didn’t think it was quite done so I pulled out the Bic Writer in Tuxedo Black and outlined my letters. Then I used Liquid Glass and filled in the letters to make them all glossy. I love how it turned out!
