Be Happy Now

For the past few weeks, I have had this nagging “challenge” in my own mind to use up my bits of Webster’s Pages paper that I bought from the Warehouse Sale over a year ago! Before starting this card, I also noticed I had this Greeting Farm image already colored on my table. So off I went to digging through my Webster’s Pages papers so that I could find things that matched.

The sketch for this card came from Deconstructing Jen’s blog and should have been made into a square card but I decided to change that a bit as I have run out of square envelopes {anyone have a good source?} and didn’t want this card to not have an envelope. All of the paper is from Webster’s Pages and from a variety of Lines.

The background green letters were also cut as a background for the sentiment part of the card and I inked the edges with Forest Moss Distress Ink. The cream patterned paper was decorated with some doodling and a couple of Recollection’s Rhinestones that I just picked up in the Dollar Bin and the edges were inked with Old Paper Distress Ink. The navy blue polka dots were what really tied this all together.

The sentiment for this card is a Penny Black Stamp that I added with more of the Forest Moss Distress Ink before adding some more doodling.

The card didn’t seem done to me when I got to this point and therefore I went through my few little bits of flowers and pulled out the cream and light blue flowers that I accented with bright green pearls so I called it DONE!
