Skip The Cake…

After creating the “I Wuff You!” card, I found this image {another Melonheadz Illustration} on my desk that I had started to color in a few nights before.  I wanted to get it used and done so I decided to grab it and finish coloring it in.

After coloring it in, I inked the edges with some Spun Sugar and Festive Berries Distress Ink. I then backed it on a bright pink cardstock from my scrap pile.

The strips on the left are 1” and ¾” from two sheets of paper in my stash. The purple woodgrain was the B side to a piece of paper that my aunt gave me at Christmas and the white sheet is from the Recollections line that I had purchased on sale and knew I was going to use but it has just sat there. UGH!

I added the three rhinestones in the corner that are from Kaiser Scrapbook and then used my Sakura Glaze Pen to add some doodles around the edge before using my Corner Chomper to round the bottom left corner.

The sentiment stamp is part of a set from PSA Essentials that I received as part of a review ages ago and have finally gotten around to using {there were others and I used them and loved them}.  There is no name on it but it has 9 different stamps on it and they are all interchangeable on their circle stamps but also great for cards as the size is perfect! (Found it at the link above}

I am linking this card up to the Skipping Stone Designs Sketch Challenge for this week that was created by the wonderful Pamela Young.
