SFYTT April Edition {and Giveaway Winner}

Each month at I Heart to Stamp, they offer a monthly card sketch challenge. At the end of the year if you have participated in all 12 you are then entered into a big giveaway drawing. I heard about this late last year and have made it my mission to complete all 12 this year.

This month I flipped the sketch to fit the needs of a horizontal card. I used a mixture of Copics and a Letraset Marker to color in the purple areas on the “I Don’t Do Mornings” digi stamp from Melonheadz Illustrations.

I wanted to use some harmonious colors with the papers in the card so I went back to the basics of color theory and decided to go with red and fuschia. I think it accented the digi stamp quite well. I

I am still working on the coloring of hair but I’m doing pretty well on the highlight and lowlight of hair and I go with that now that I have a decent stash of Copics in the E family.
