Fab Friday for August 10th (on Saturday)

Well, I am a day late posting this but yea, that’s how life rolls. Yesterday was my sister’s Master’s graduation and that took precedence over just about everything.

This week, I would like to feature Teachers Pay Teachers as my website of choice. I have been a member of TpT for almost a year now and LOVE all the resources that I get from this site. Not only are there great things to find out there that other teachers have created for their classrooms, but you can also have your own store. I love getting a little bit extra at the end of a quarter that pays a bit for things that I have already created to use in my own classroom. LOVE IT! An extra special bonus is that from August 12-13 there is a site-wide sale going on! Many stores (including mine) are adding in an extra sale on top of it so it’s a great time to check it out! {The link above is an affiliate link for their referral program of signing up. I would appreciate if you would sign up through that link.}

The “Want Monster” doesn’t have me right now so I had to go look at my Amazon Wish List to see what I have added recently. I think that this Facebook Like stamp would be great for grading with this year. I have kids do a lot of reflective things in our math (part of the ELPS and our curriculum) and I think that instead of just giving a grade for doing it, I can give them more feedback this year. They know this symbol and would probably get a kick out of it.

I have been a “Pinning Fool” lately. Making cute binder clips is now something that is WAY DOWN on my To Do list. I could totally color coordinate my classes and things these would be stinkin’ cute! 🙂 I think maybe this is a reason to buy MORE Wasabi tape! 🙂

I don’t have a layout to share this week because I have had full-time SCHOOL on the brain!

And last, but certainly not least, is a FREEBIE for the classroom that I want to share with you. Last week, my Twitter friend @wyldbirman created a really cute calendar that she shared. Not being a purple/green fan, I had to whip it out and make it a SUPER colorful calendar and change up the fonts. I am in love with this and I hope she creates one next year too! I am using it for my SpEd Math classes for long-term planning because I know I need MORE room than my one sheet per day calendar. Please, feel free to download it (use the link above to sign up for an account) and rate it after you have done so. 🙂

So, without further ado, I bid you farewell. I need to work on my #msSunFun post for Sunday. I want to create a video of last years notebooks but I need to time the uploading right so the post may not go up until late tomorrow.
